How anti-Israel activists hoodwinked American Jewish leadership
Circa 1990, James Zogby, the head of the Arab American Institute, explained in a now-obscure interview how he planned to defeat America’s Jewish establishment.
This rare footage shows Zogby in conversation with Dr. Walid Muhammad al-Sadi of Jordanian state television’s English-language division.
In the video, Zogby proudly details his strategies for turning American public opinion against Israel and in favor of the Palestinians. He goes forth to talk about the work he did in the 1980s of creating coalitions between American Arabs, blacks, Latinos, white progressives, and — crucially — leftist Jews. He was right on the money.
Keep this brilliant phrase of Daniel Pipes in mind: “Who could have imagined 100 years ago that the Jews would have made the best soldiers and the Arabs the best publicists?”
