Stephen Gerzof, M.D. is a social activist, Interventional Radiologist, Professor of Radiology at Tufts Medical School, and Consultant in Medicine at the West Roxbury VA. He developed non-operative treatments for abdominal abscesses and pancreatitis. His seminal work, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, had a significant impact on the practice of medicine and surgery worldwide and was incorporated into an entirely new sub-specialty, “Interventional Radiology.” Dr. Gerzof is a graduate of Hobart College and Tufts Medical School.
